The Teachers Academy will offer you targeted instruction on how to run a warm, loving, organized and effective classroom.

You will be mentored by Mrs. Malka Ungar, who will work with each of you every week to improve your teaching skills, and is always available for questions and advice.

Orton Gillingham

Orton Gillingham is a system of direct, explicit, multi-sensory instruction of phonemic awareness, phonics, spelling rules designed to teach children how to read fluently, write beautifully, and spell correctly. It presents a series of logical rules that explain the spelling and pronunciation of over 98% of English words, and it does it through a multitude of games and other fun activities.
